7 women arraigned for Prostitution and Child Trafficking in Ondo State..

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Ondo State command detained seven women on suspicion of prostitution and child trafficking.


The women were arrested at a brothel on Car Street, in Akure, Ondo state, after some church members reported a suspected commercial sex worker and trafficker, Susan John, to police for luring a girl, Faith Ekepemephia, into prostitution.

Bank Verification Number (BVN) Registration date has been extended...

The central bank of Nigeria (CBN) has extended the deadline for the bank verification number (BVN) registration to October 31, 2015.

The bank said the extension is meant to facilitate smooth completion of registration.

The exercise, which started in February 2014, was initially meant to close on June 30.

The process entails data capturing of customers finger prints and also capturing of the customer in order to generate unique numbers for proper identification.

110,000 infected with HIV AIDS in Taraba State... Statistics by Network of People Living With HIV/AIDs in Nigeria(NEPWHAN) Coordinator.

Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS in Taraba, Mr. Edward Ogenyi on Tuesday said that about 110,849 people are living with the virus in the State.

Ogenyi said this at the commencement of a five-day ‘Demand Generation Activities for HIV and AIDS Service Uptake’ in Jalingo the State capital.

A bus driver has done the unthinkable this afternoon around Muson centre/TBS in Lagos.
According to Linda Ikeji,  the bus driver was stopped by the officials of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) for disobeying traffic rule.

The officials decided to seize his bus but he did the unthinkable. He went under the bus and refused to come out, causing traffic on the road. See photos below:

Kwankwaso who was speaking in an on-air interview with Channels television also decried the political play in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying it has divided Nigerians along religious and ethnic lines.
